Boy Scouts of America Troop 177
Meets Monday Nights at 7:00 PM at the Church:
Our troop 177 was organized in the fall of 2001. Our primary goals are all Christ-centered. Our Instruction and guidance are in character-building and good citizenship, competence in outdoor skills, and advancement in the scouting ranks.
Our troop normally has a weekend outing once a month. During the colder months our outings are usually one-day trips and during the warmer months we go on weekend camp-outs from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Each summer troop 177 goes on a weeklong camping trip. During the summer of 2001 we went to BSA camp Emerson in the Idyllwild area for a week and in the summer of 2002 we backpacked in the high sierras for a week.
Our meetings are on Monday nights from 7:00 until 8:30 at Calvary Chapel. (Except for holidays, Christmas and Easter vacations, and Mondays following outings).
Committee/parent meetings are at Calvary Chapel at 7:00 on the third Tuesday of the month.
