Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Addiction is anything that interferes with life development.

Let's face it, there are many situations of life that we struggle with daily. But if we are caught up in something that is truly controlling us, then even the daily routine becomes a struggle. Drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, overeating can be just the tip of the iceberg. Many times the addiction is just a symptom of something deeper. We can get sober or overcome the addiction on our own, but the reason for the addiction is still there. Granted the addiction can cause problems and that causes the addiction to go deeper and you have this unending spiral. That's what God wants to heal … for complete recovery.

We have a Christ-based recovery group that meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. It’s not just for drugs and alcohol, because many times the nature of addiction is the same and Christ is the answer for all. We have resources available if more help is needed and, of course, counseling is always available through the church office.

In addition to our regular Wednesday night meeting, we offer the Rapha 12-step program for alcohol and chemical dependency. It's a Christ based recovery program that allows a more intensified look at what created the patterns of addiction in your life and how to give those things to God. This program gives the structure that many desire in a 12-step program requiring commitment and homework, leading to a stronger relationship with Christ and complete recovery from drugs and alcohol. We are making this program available because we would rather you go through it with us than in prison, where this program is used quite successfully. Let's face it, the result of alcohol and chemical addiction includes prison, along with the loss of everything else. The right time for your sobriety is right now! Please come and join us.

I came that they may have life and have it more abundantly. John 10:10b
