Academic and Record Keeping Services

Private School Affidavit on file with the State of California.  Student Cumulative Records are maintained accurately in safe, fireproof files.  Confidentiality of all records and transactions are safeguarded at all times.

Curriculum Guidance is available for grades K-12.  NJCA provides guidance for vocational and academic curriculum tracks for high school students.  Purchase of curriculum is the parents responsibility.

Record Keeping Forms are provided per State requirements.  Included are quarterly attendance and progress reports, report cards and course of study.  Annual Achievement Testing is available.  Children should be tested in the fifth, eighth, and eleventh grades.

High School Graduation and Diploma.  High school planning packets are available to insure all course requirements for graduation are met.  Diplomas are awarded to students who meet specified criteria.

A School Library is available for enrolled members with quality books, tapes and curriculum resources.

A School handbook is issued to each family fully explaining policies and procedures .

Registration & Monthly Tuition
$30.00 registration fee each year  -  Monthly Tuition of $30.00 first child, + $5.00 for each additional child.

Parent Support
Monthly Teachers' Meetings are designed for parent education and encouragement. These required informative meetings may include a special speaker or an opportunity for parents to encourage one another and to sign up for field trips and special events.

The Lion's Roar Newsletter is published monthly to communicate information to parents regarding school and community activities, legal updates, educational resources, encouraging articles and editorials.

Legal Defense
Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), or California Home Educators Legal Defense(CHELD) is required of all enrolled families. Both organizations provide quality legal defense for families who elect to educate their children at home.

School Identity
School pictures, I.D. Cards, T-Shirts, annual yearbook, add to the spirit and enthusiasm of our school.
