God's word exhorts us to "...sing praises to our God...praise is beautiful." (from Psalm 147).  We believe it blesses the very heart of God when His people sing His praises and worship Him in song.  Naturally, worship in music and song is a very important aspect of our church fellowship.  The music ministry exists for the purpose of facilitating our corporate worship of the Lord.

Our music ministry primarily consists of what we refer to as our "worship team".  This is made up of a growing number of singers and musicians who share in leading worship at our various services, as well as sharing in occasional "special music".

Our goal is to create beautiful music that inspires the body of Christ to freely worship Him.  We are always seeking His direction, always seeking His glory!  We are very contemporary in what we sing and play; trying to keep freshness and vitality in our worship services, while still keeping the focus on Jesus.  While it is always our desire to strive for excellence, we never want to be the attraction. It's always about Jesus.

It is our desire that God would always have His way with this ministry, and we want to always be open to His leading, able to detect His voice.  For this reason, we are always eager to include people in the body who have truly been gifted and called by God to this type of ministry.  We have rehearsal meetings every Friday evening at 7:00PM. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.  We also have a "musicians' fellowship" the first Friday evening of each month.  This is time of Bible study relating to our ministry, as well as our normal rehearsal time.  We encourage any person interested in music ministry to begin by attending these meetings, and see where the Lord may be leading.
