Deuteronomy 6:6 & 7

"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.  You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

 During each of the (3) Sunday morning services we provide Children's Ministry for ages 0 through 14 years old.  For our Thursday evening service we provide Children's Ministry for ages 0 through 11 years old.  For safety purposes each parent will "sign-in" their child at the appropriate class prior to the service and will be required to "sign-out" their child after the service.  Below is a brief description of the classes we offer for our children.

Nursery (Infant Through 23 Months Old)
During Sunday morning and Thursday evening services we provide nursery care for infants through 23 months old. Our servants are trained in nursery care and are ready to assist you & your children.  In consideration to the health of others we ask that you not bring a sick infant into the nursery. 

* For nursing moms, we provide a mother's room with an audio speaker and a special window for you to enjoy the service in progress, while having the privacy you need.

Children's Church (2 Years Old Through 3 Years Old)
During Sunday morning and Thursday evening services we provide classes for toddlers ages 2 years old through 3 years old.  

The curriculum we use for our toddlers is produced by Cook Publishing. We concentrate on a different theme each week and have Bible lessons, crafts, games and activities each week based on that theme.

During each Sunday morning service we bring the children into the Fellowship Hall for approximately 25 minutes to enjoy a special and exciting time of worship and puppets to reinforce the day's theme. After the worship time, the children return to their classes for the remainder of the service.

Children's Church (Pre-K - grade 8)
During Sunday morning services we provide age appropriate classes for ages 4 years old through 14 years old.  For our Thursday evening service we provide age appropriate classes for ages 4 years old through 11 years old.  (Jr. High and High School Youth Groups meet during Thursday evening services) 

The curriculum we use at these age levels is a "through the Bible" curriculum developed by Calvary Chapel of Modesto. We study the New Testament from beginning to end on Sunday mornings and repeat it every 3 years. We study the Old Testament on Thursday evenings and repeat it every 4 years.  If a child consistently attends Sunday morning and Thursday evening services they will have studied through the New Testament twice and through the Old Testament almost twice.

Family Devotions (Pre-K - grade 6)
We provide a free devotional for parents who would like to reinforce Sunday's teaching throughout the week at home.  The Five short devotions have application questions for the children which coincide with the Sunday morning's lesson. This is a great tool for parents to work with their children on developing a personal devotional time at home. Just pick up your copy in the pamphlet holder located on your child's classroom door.
