B.L.O.S.S.O.M.: BLOSSOM (Blessed Laborers Offering Service to Support Outreaching Missionaries) is a ministry with the purpose to help the body of Christ gain a greater awareness of the overwhelming need to reach the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, to provide Christians with the opportunity to serve as senders -- by using their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities to support those who have been called to long term (and some short term) ministry on the mission field. In doing so they become an integral part of fulfilling the Great Commission - "...go and make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:19). Some gifts, talents, and abilities that have been used include, Craft Fairs, Sunday Morning Breakfast Burritos, Surplus Fruit & Veggie sales, bake sales, yard sales -- the possibilities are endless! Reckless 4 Christ Youth Ministry: Reckless 4 Christ is an ON FIRE group of teens committed to reaching the lost and hurting youth for Christ. They share the Gospel through drama, music, testimonies and teaching the Word. They are available to come to your community to minister. For more information contact Youth Pastor Zeke Flores.
Prison Ministry : We have a team of people trained and cleared to minister within this minimum security prison facility. We are currently teaching a Wednesday evening and Sunday morning evangelistic Bible study for the men incarcerated there.
Drug & Alcohol Recovery Ministry : We believe that God, through the power of His Spirit can change and restore a life more effectively and permanently than any 12 step program. We minister to anyone who wants to escape from addictions into freedom on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. This ministry is not limited to drug and alcohol addictions but all other addictions as well.
Short-Term Missions Trips: We are actively involved in sending youth and adults on short term missions programs around the world. Some of the places our church body has been involved the past few years are: Moscow and Omsk in Russia, Baja California in Mexico, Dumaguete City in the Philippines, and Cuenca in Ecuador.
Jesus Film: Robert Bloemendaal dubs the Jesus Film and other Christian films into various dialects for those unreached languages in Mexico and other countries. Scripture portions and dramatized testimonies are also recorded onto audio cassettes for distribution. For more information contact, Robert Bloemendaal
Jail Ministry : Calvary Chapel of Phelan Jail Ministry is an outreach ministry to the San Bernardino County jail facilities. We have teams go into the jails on a weekly basis to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has given us an open door to minister to hurting souls within these facilities. As the "Good News" is being proclaimed, lives are being forever changed. "He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their chains in pieces."
