Words to the Wise
Something amazing happens when someone receives the free gift of salvation, they go from eternal death to eternal life; just by receiving that free gift.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
God is such a loving God that He made it possible for us to have eternal life by sending his Son who died for our sins; what a precious gift. But not everyone will receive this gift, they will literally reject it and there is a penalty, a price, a wage for that rejection, which is the judgment of God.
God is a fair and just God. He has made it clear through His word – those who somehow haven’t heard, God will deal perfectly with; but those who willfully reject His gift have no excuse. All we can do is share that free gift of salvation with others, they decide to receive it or reject it.
